Class description:

We often hear that Pilates works you from the inside out, but what a lot of people don’t realize is that this is literally true. Many of the exercises are designed to work all layers of muscle and to help clients achieve a balanced and toned overall muscular system. By stabilizing spine, hips, pelvis, shoulders, head & neck as well as strengthening the core muscles, clients can achieve great flexibility through all of the major muscle groups, and develop that graceful yet athletic look.

Focus is placed on precise movements originating from the center or core of your body. Working from the deepest layers of muscles, which stabilize and support your spine and pelvis, resulting in a strong, flexible spine with ideal posture and alignment. Classes emphasize the foundational principals of Pilates while offering modifications and variations to suit each students individual needs.

Another fun session of Pilates + Yoga FUSION is beginning Monday, May 1st. Don’t miss out, Sign-up NOW for the next 6-week session. Class meets Monday’s 5:30 – 6:30 PM at Fusion (410 Beltrami Ave NW, Bemidji, MN 56601). We will not meet Monday May 29th, Memorial Day. 

Class description:

This class fuses Yoga with core stabilizing Pilates, combining the best of both practices! Learn a movement system that is designed to stretch and strengthen all the major muscle groups developing a streamlined slenderness rather than bulk. This class is excellent for developing general tone and fitness in the body while creating a sense of inner calm, relaxation and overall well-being.
